Yoga Classes

At effraspace, we offer you a timeless practice - one that can be used to develop your journey into yoga at any point. Our yoga classes usually last for 75 mins, giving each student enough time to properly engage with the benefits of the practice, and of course to reduce the risk of any injury. These classes are offered in the evenings to provide you with the time to de-stress after work, and we encourage you to take advantage of the wealth of information that each of our teachers has on offer about their particular style. 

 

Evening Classes

Our evening yoga classes include Ashtanga Yoga, Scaravelli Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Each of these styles comes from a different origin, whether it be the ancient temples in Mysore, India, or the beautiful countryside in Florence, Italy. The origins of the yoga style is passed down throughout the class, and each student will learn the correct form, alignment and particular breathing technique to aid their practice. Mats, blocks, straps and incense are all provided to help you improve and expand on your yoga experience. 

Scaravelli Yoga class

Yoga for Sports & Cyclists 

Our Yoga for Sports & Cyclists class is aimed at those who would like to work on stretching and relieving any tightness that might have been gained from cycling or through various sports exercises. It is suitable for beginners, and works on targeting areas such as the lower back, glutes and hamstrings that are particularly prone to injury from exercise. Bicycle storage is available at the venue and all equipment is provided.

Acro Yoga Courses

From time to time we offer various yoga workshops and courses that are suitable for families, couples and beginners. These include Family Acro Yoga which we run once a month and our Yoga Styles Course which gives students an introduction to some of the most popular and interesting yoga styles.
