New Walk: The Midwife Diaries Book Launch

Warning - This is not a polite fiction.

Meet Chloe, the student midwife on the cusp of adulthood, dealing with her father’s addiction and her mother’s recent bereavement. Chloe grew up hearing about midwifery in the NHS from her mother who was a midwife, and she feels strongly when meeting women who are pressured into making choices during labour and suffer the effects of poor care afterwards. She wants to make a difference, but soon realises that not every midwife mentor approves of her passionate personality.

Then life hands her the biggest decision she’s ever had to make. Find out more in this amazing story of bullying in the NHS, drug addiction, abortion and naturally, awe-inspiring birth.
