First Aid for Baby & Child

Nobody likes to think of children being in an emergency situation, but learning first aid will give you the confidence to be able to help should you ever need to.

This one day course run by the British Red Cross has been designed with parents in mind, to guide you through exactly what you need to know. This course is for personal use and you are welcome to bring babies (who are not yet crawling) along.

In this course you will learn a range of first aid techniques for various situations. These may include learning what to do if your baby or child is:
Not breathing
Having a febrile seizure
Having an asthma attack
Having an allergic reaction
or showing symptoms of meningitis

You will also learn how to treat burns, administer CPR, how to stop a child from choking and more. Working practically and in a group is a great way to ensure the information is readily absorbed and understood, and our trainers are highly qualified and able to answer any questions you might have.

No previous experience is needed and places are limited, so prior booking is necessary.
