We have a range of yoga, dance and fitness classes suitable for all levels and encourage you to come along! As well as being necessary for physical health, exercise can be one of the best ways to encourage better a mental and emotional state, and you will find our classes to be fun, inviting and stimulating, no matter what level you might start at.
Our evening yoga classes include Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga for Sports & Cyclists and Nurturing Flow Yoga. Each of these styles comes from a different origin, whether it be the ancient temples in India, or the beautiful countryside in Italy. Students learn the correct form, alignment and breathing technique to aid their practice, and we provide all mats, blocks, straps and incense. Teachers are especially skilled in helping you to improve your practice, no matter where you might be on your journey through yoga.
Our lunchtime Pilates class is a wonderful way to fit in a quick practice during the day. We use mat exercises to help you tone and strengthen your body, and also work on establishing form and technique to avoid injury. If you are attending post-injury/childbirth our teachers are able to give you specific exercises that will aid with recovery and hopefully enable you to get back into exercise quicker. Our Self Defence courses run for 6 weeks and teach you the vital skills to defend yourself in any situation. As the nature of the course is very interactive and hands-on, it is suitable for both adults and children to take part in. You will learn how to defend yourself if approached from behind, in a group, whilst sitting, standing or on the floor. We will also go through various ways to mitigate dangerous situations and overcome mental blocks. Toddlers and smaller children are welcome to sit in. Find out more here.
